"The hare revolt" is a successful attempt by the director and designer Rimas Driežis to combine the spirit of the traditional English street puppeteering to the poem by the Lithuanian writer Kazys Binkis (1893-1942) performed by the charismatic actress Lijana Muštašvili employing the technique of hand puppets.
This patriotic puzzle, based on the poems and verses of poet, playwright, and classic Lithuanian author Kazys Binkis (1893-1942), is masterfully performed by a single actress, Lijana Muštašvili, with the help of numerous glove puppets. Children enjoy watching the battles between rabbits, while parents can immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the temporary capital, tinged with nostalgia and irony.
