She was born in 1973, in Vilnius. In 2002 she graduated from DAMU (the Academy of Theatre and Music) in Prague and gained master‘s degree of scenography. In 1998 R. Valčik gained master‘s degree at the Vilnius Academy of Arts. Since 2004 she has been a member of the Artists‘ Union. In 2007-2012, she was a chairwoman of Scenographers' section. Since 1995 she has been creating scenography, costumes, light design for theatre and cinema in Lithuania and abroad, participating in various art projects and exhibitions.
