Rolandas Kazlas
ACTOR, DIRECTOR

Born in 1969, in Molėtai. In 1991 he graduated from the Lithuanian State Conservatory where he studied acting (now the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre; course mentors – D. Tamulevičiūtė and A. Latėnas). From 1991 to 1993 he worked in Šiaurės Atėnai Theatre, from 1993 to 2007 he worked as an actor of the State Youth Theatre. Currently, he is a free-lance artist. R. Kazlas also created roles in television, cinema, Lithuanian and Kaunas National drama theatres, performances in Art Fort, directed performances in Vilnius Theatre Lėlė, State Youth Theatre.

2014 Festival Lithuanian Theatre Spring (Kaunas) Award for the role of the Poet in the performance Not The Ways of This World (Vilnius Theatre Lėlė).

2009 Festival Lithuanian Theatre Spring Award Best Director of the Minor Stage (in the opinion of the audience and the commission) for the performance Iron and Silver (Vilnius Theatre Lėlė).
